- Your patient record is stored in Australia, in our practice-management system.
- We share it only with the people involved in your care: your practitioner, the dispensing pharmacy if treatment is prescribed, and the providers that run billing and records.
- We never sell your information and never share it with advertisers.
- You can ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, at any time.
- Not happy with how we've handled it? Email us, and if we don't fix it, the OAIC takes complaints.
Who we are
Primagevity is operated by MPT DIGITAL PTY LTD (ABN 44 699 635 973), an Australian company ("Primagevity", "we", "us"). We provide clinician-led telehealth services to eligible patients in Australia.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Because we provide a health service, some of what we collect is health information, a category of sensitive information that Australian law gives extra protection. We collect it only with your consent, which you give through the declarations in your intake form before your first consultation.
Because clinical care requires knowing who you are, we can't provide our service anonymously or under a pseudonym. You can browse this website without identifying yourself.
What we collect
Identity and contact details. Your name, date of birth, email, phone number, state and postcode, collected when you book a consultation.
Health information. Your goals, medical history, current medications, allergies and related details, collected through your intake form and during your consultation. Your practitioner's clinical notes and any treatment decisions form part of your patient record.
Appointment and billing details. Booking times, invoices and payment status. When you pay for a consultation, payment is processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Website. This website does not ask for or collect health information, and does not use advertising trackers. Standard technical logs (such as IP address) are processed by our hosting and font providers to serve the site.
How we collect it
Directly from you: when you book, complete your intake form, speak with your practitioner, or email us. We don't buy data about you and we don't collect it from social media.
Why we collect it
To provide your care: assessing eligibility, running your consultation, keeping the clinical records practitioners are required to keep, arranging dispensing and delivery if treatment is prescribed, processing payment, and contacting you about your care. We won't use your health information for anything unrelated to your care without asking you first.
If you join the waitlist
When you join our waitlist we collect your name, email address, phone number, state, and what you told us you are working towards. We hold it in our own records so we can contact you when a place opens, and we do not sell it or share it for anyone else's marketing. It does not become a patient record; that only happens if you go on to book a consultation. Ask us at info@primagevity.com and we will take you off the list. From then on we stop contacting you about it, and we keep a minimal record of the request so we do not contact you again by mistake. If you want that record erased as well, tell us when you email and we will.
Where it's stored, and how it's protected
Your patient record lives in our practice-management system, hosted in Australia. Payment details are held by our payment provider, Stripe, under their own security and compliance obligations. We keep health records for as long as Australian law requires health services to retain them, then dispose of them securely.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access: information is encrypted in transit, access to patient records is limited to the people involved in your care, accounts are protected with multi-factor authentication, and we use established providers with their own security and compliance programs. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your information the way we would want ours treated.
Overseas disclosure
Your health information (your patient record) is stored in Australia and is not disclosed to overseas recipients. Your waitlist details, meaning the information you give us before you become a patient, are held in our business tools provided by Google and may be processed overseas. This is separate from your patient record, which stays in Australia. Some of our service providers process limited non-health information overseas: Stripe processes payment information globally, including in the United States, and our website hosting and font providers process standard technical data (such as IP addresses) on servers that may be located overseas, primarily in the United States. These providers operate under their own privacy and security obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the people involved in your care and the providers needed to deliver it: your treating practitioner; the licensed Australian pharmacy that dispenses and ships your treatment, if treatment is prescribed; our payment provider, for billing; and our practice-management provider, which stores records on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
We never sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Marketing
We'll only send you marketing if you've opted in, and every message includes a working unsubscribe. Care-related communication (like appointment confirmations) isn't marketing and is sent as part of your treatment.
Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@primagevity.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and won't charge you for making the request.
Data breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your information, email us first at info@primagevity.com; we take it seriously and will respond promptly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged to existing patients directly.
